Who can become an Affiliate Member of WAIS?
Affiliate Membership of WAIS is available to applicants that do not meet the criteria for ordinary membership of WAIS but are engaged in surveying or allied professions with sufficient interest, intent, knowledge and skills to be able to promote the objectives of WAIS. Affiliate members include current students of surveying and graduates with up to 2 years’ experience. Before completing your application, please ensure you have:
- Certified copies of your current enrolment advice or tertiary qualifications in surveying for student and graduate applicants (JPG or PNG image files preferred)
- Read the WAIS Code of Ethics which you must accept to become a member
Once you have completed your online application, your membership login details will be emailed to you. Your application will be reviewed and tabled at our next Board meeting for approval. On acceptance, your Membership Certificate will be emailed to you.

Fees are automatically pro-rated for members applying after the start of the financial year.
